Nepal Life Insurance registered the net profit of Rs. 28.05 crore with EPS of Rs. 12.76 in Q2; Life insurance figure stands massive Rs 56.73 arba

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has earned net profit of Rs 28.05 crore till the month of Poush in the second quarter of FY 2075/76.

As per the unaudited report for the second quarter published today, the net earnings from premium rose to Rs 10.47 arba in Q2 from Rs 7.14 arba in the corresponding quarter of last FY 2074/75. The company has managed to hike its number of policyholders to 12.09 lakh from 10.80 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year.

NLIC has a paid-up capital of Rs 4.39 arba with a reserve of Rs 3.730 arba. Likewise, the company’s life insurance fund has increased to Rs 56.73 arba from Rs 45.63 arba in the corresponding quarter.

Further, the net premium of the company has increased to Rs. 10.47 arba from previous Rs. 7.14 arba in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.

Its annualized EPS stands at Rs 12.76, net worth per share at Rs 193.38 and P/E ratio at 86.52 times.
