Nepal Life donates Rs 51 lakh to PM relief fund; offers waiver on late renewal fee

Nepal Life Insurance has donated Rs 51 lakhs to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund, as per a press statement issued by the company.

The money will be deposited in the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund by the Beema Samiti. The CEO of Nepal Life Mr. Vivek Jha has handed over the money to the Beema Samiti.

As per the press release, the company has made a provision that its clients can make death claim settlements from any of its branch offices.

The company has announced to provide a waiver on the fine levied on insurance renewal delays caused by April 25 earthquake. In case of policies whose renewal date fell between Baishak 12, the day of the earthquake, and Baishak 31, the policyholders will not be asked to pay late fines.

The company has also said that it is continuing the work of providing relief materials to various districts.
