Nepal Insurance Company (NICL) Calls 73rd AGM on Jestha 30 to Endorse 11.5789% Dividend

Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has called its 73rd AGM on Jestha 30. The meeting will be held in Nepal Tourism Board, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse the 11.5789% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The meeting of the board of directors held on Jestha 06 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1.24 Arba. 11% bonus shares worth Rs 13.66 crores and 0.5789% cash dividend (including tax for bonus shares) worth Rs. 71.92 lakhs have been proposed. After the bonus distribution, the paid-up capital of the company will raise to Rs. 1.37 Arba.

There is also an agenda to discuss raising the company's existing authorized capital to Rs. 2.6 Arba.

The shareholder registration book (book closure) is from Jestha 17 to Jestha 30. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM.
