Nepal Infrastructure Reports Satisfactory Growth In Net Profit In Q2; Look At The Major Highlights

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has published its Q2 report with a 25.66% growth in net profit. The net profit increased to Rs. 44.26 crores in this quarter from Rs. 35.22 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 20 Arba and reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 2.84 Arba till Q2.
The deposit from customers stood at Rs. 33.77 crores while loans and advances stood at Rs. 8.13 Arba. Placement with BFI’s stood at Rs. 14.21 Arba till Q2.
The net interest income (core business revenue) of the bank increased to Rs. 82.35 Crore in this quarter. The operating profit increased by 25.57% to Rs. 63.23 Crore.
The bank’s EPS stood at Rs. 4.43 and net worth per share stood at Rs. 114.22. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 88.76 times.
