Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) Sees Sharp Decline in Q3 Net Profit, EPS at Rs. 0.24

Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) revealed a significant drop in net profit for the third quarter of fiscal year 2080/81, with profits plummeting by 87.24% to Rs. 13.18 lakhs. In comparison, during the same period last year, the company reported a net profit of Rs. 1.03 Crores.

NFS experienced an uptick in net interest income, reaching Rs. 7.59 crores in Q3 from Rs. 6.7 Crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

However, impairment charges worth Rs. 1.66 crores weighed on NFS's net profit for Q3.

In terms of financials, NFS collected deposits amounting to Rs. 2.24 Arba, while its loans and advances to customers totaled Rs. 1.73 Arba by Q3 of FY 2080/81.

Nepal Finance's paid-up capital stands at Rs. 72.94 crores, with reserves amounting to Rs. 72.75 Crores.

The company reported an annualized Earnings per Share (EPS) of Rs. 0.24, with a net worth per share of Rs. 134.83.
