Nepal Chamber of Commerce once again urges Finance Ministry to amend the federal budget; criticize heavy tax policy on electric vehicles
Nepal Chamber of Commerce has once again issued its concern towards the Finance Ministry against the recently unveiled federal budget accusing the government that it has failed to address the issues highlighted by the chamber that needs immediate ratification.
The chamber has once again denounced the fiscal policy of the government and has demanded to decrease the taxes on electric vehicles and recognize the LC and certify the valuation of banking prices at the border crossings while importing the goods. The chamber has also urged the government to increase the VAT threshold to Rs 1 crore from the existing Rs 50 lakh among other demands, as per the media statement.
