Nepal Bank registers 24.35% deposit growth and 31.98% credit growth during month of Baisakh

Nepal Bank has registered the highest deposit and credit growth among the commercial banks for the month of Baisakh, 2079.
During the review period, the bank has registered 24.35% deposit growth while 31.98% credit growth, as per the media statement.
The 27 commercial banks in the nation registered 6.23% deposit growth while 17.43% growth in credit on an average. The bank has maintained a CD ratio of 89.65% during the review period while 18 banks have so far exceeded the 90% limit.
The bank currently has 213 branches, 170 ATM outlets, and 47 extension counters serving more than 20 lakh customers
