Nepal Bank observes its 86th anniversary with range of events; felicitates towering personalities from diverse sectors
Nepal Bank has observed its 86th anniversary on Kartik 30, 2079 with a mega anniversary event.
The event was also attended by the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari, the first Governor of NRB Mr. Himalaya Shamsher J.B. Rana, Revenue Secretary from Finance Ministry Mr. Rameswor Dangal, chairman of Nepal Bankers’ Association Mr. Anil Kumar Upadhyay, chairman of Nepal Bank Mr. Ganga Prasad Gyawali, as per the media statement.
The bank has rewarded its best-performing branches, winners of a recently held badminton competition, felicitated the chairman of KL Dugar group Mr. Kishan Lal Dugar and chairman of Dwarika Hotel Ms. Ambika Shrestha. The bank also felicitated first Governor of NRB and the Director General of the bank from 2008 B.S. to 2011 B.S. Mr Himalaya Shamsher J.B. Rana, as per the media statement.
The bank currently has 226 branches, 199 ATM outlets and 50 extension counters serving its 23 lakh plus customers across the nation.
