Nepal Bangladesh Bank earns Rs 1.19 arba in Q4; Reserve increases by 64% to Rs 3.05 arba

Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) has posted net profit rise by 47.21 percent in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73.
According to the unaudited financial report published by the commercial bank today, its net profit has surged to Rs 1.19 arba in fourth quarter up from Rs 81.39 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2071/72.
NBB’s net interest income has risen to Rs 1.46 arba in Q4 from Rs 1.09 arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
It has paid up capital of Rs 3.03 arba with reserve of Rs 3.05 arba in fourth quarter.
The bank’s deposits collection reached Rs 39.87 arba in Q4 from Rs 33.83 arba in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year. Likewise, it has extended loans and advances of Rs 32.52 arba in Q4 whereas in the same period last year the figure stood at Rs 25.82 arba.
NB Bank non-performing loan (NPL) has decline to 0.71 percent in Q4 from 1.33 percent in the previous year report.
Its annualized earning per share (EPS) remains at Rs 39, net worth per share at 200 and the P/E ratio at 22 times.
