National Hydro Power posted net loss of Rs 97.21 lakh in Q2; Net worth stands only at Rs 69

National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) has published second quarter (Q2) report of the FY 2074/75. According to the unaudited financial report published today, it has posted net loss of Rs 97.21 lakh in second quarter of fiscal year 2074/75 from net profit Rs 95.29 lakh in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year 2074/75. NHPC made an income of Rs 5.39 crore, mainly from selling electricity, by the end of the second quarter, slightly increase from Rs 5.37 crore in the first quarter of the FY 2074/75. The company’s operating profit decrease to Rs 3.60 crore in Q2 from Rs 3.64 crore in the first quarter of current fiscal year. Its reserve fund is negative at Rs 43.07 crore. Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 1.38arba. Its earning per share (EPS) stands negative at Rs 2.81 and net worth per share at Rs 69. Announcement:
