Nabil Equity Fund reports decrease in NAV to Rs 9.81; registers net loss of Rs 2.42 crore

Nabil Equity Fund, a close-ended seven years mutual fund scheme managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited has posted meager decrease in its Net Asset Value.
According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV decreased to Rs. 9.81 at the end of Mangsir, 2073 from Rs 9.89 posted in Kartik, 2073. The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.
The scheme, which began with a total fund of Rs 1.25 arba, has invested Rs 15.79 crores in listed companies’ shares, Rs 12.50 crore in fixed deposits, and Rs 5.01 Lakhs in shares of companies that have not been listed as of Mangsir end.
The fund reported a net loss of Rs 2.42 crore in Mangsir.
Out of its total investment in listed shares, Nabil Equity Fund has bought 12,000 unit shares of Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limited whereas it has invested the highest amount Rs 2.61 crore in Everest Bank Limited.
