Nabil Equity Fund registers NAV at Rs 8.69 for the month of Chaitra; Highest investment made in Citizen Investment Trust

Nabil Equity Fund (NEF), closed-end seven years mutual fund scheme managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited has also posted marginal increase in its Net Asset Value by Rs 0.03 per unit.
According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV marginally increased to Rs 8.69 at the end of Chaitra, 2074 from Rs 8.66 posted in Falgun, 2074. The NAV of the fund is below the par value of Rs 10 per unit.
The scheme, which began with a total fund of Rs 1.25 arba, has investment of Rs 58.90 crore in 53 listed companies’ shares, Rs 12.50 crore in fixed deposits, and Rs 7.62 crore in shares of companies that have not been listed as of Chaitra end.
It has invested Rs 5 crore in unlisted debentures as well. The fund reported a net loss of Rs 15.98 crore as on Chaitra from net loss of Rs 16.29 crore last month. Out of its total investment in listed shares, Nabil Equity Fund has bought the highest shares (34,953 units) of Sanima Bank Limited (SANIMA) however; the highest amount invested is Rs 4.59 crore in 18,379 shares of Citizen Investment Trust (CIT).
