Nabil Bank “Banking Partner” of Pokhara Premier League

We are pleased to announce that Nabil Bank has entered into an agreement with Queens Event Management Pvt. Ltd. With the signing of this agreement, Nabil Bank has become Banking Partner of Pokhara Premier League (PPL). Mr. Anil Keshary Shah, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank and Mr. Chhumbi Lama, Managing Director of Queens Event Management signed the agreement today in an event organized at Nabil Bank’s Head Office, Durbar Marg. Kathmandu, in the presence of national cricket captain Paras Khadka and cricketer Gyanendra Malla. Ms. Shristi Shrestha, Nabil Bank’s ‘Visa Girl’ who is the ace of the Bank for its national and international card products was also present.

Pokhara Premier League will be held from October 26 to November 6, 2018. As informed by Managing Director of Queens, the tournament is going to be the highest cash-prized Twenty20 league of the country and will have six franchise teams. The Twenty20 League will be preceded by an U-16 PPL which will be held in Kathmandu. The participating franchises will have U-16 teams who will compete in a tournament in Kathmandu. The organisers are preparing to host the final of that U-16 tournament in Pokhara.

 National cricket team captain Paras Khadka said the League will lay a foundation in making Pokhara a cricket hub in Nepal. "It’s a new beginning for us. To get this tournament in Pokhara is a big boost for the city itself. This will help in making Pokhara a cricket hub,".
