NEPSE Edges Up to 2,601.61 with Rs. 3.44 Arba Turnover; NGPL Tops Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, increasing by 6.74 points (0.25%) to settle at 2,601.61. This follows a 12.50 point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,593.58, touching an intraday high of 2,602.89, while the lowest point was 2,587.23. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.44 Arba, with 7,757,625 shares traded across 329 companies through 56,122 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.68 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.77 Kharba.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 14.25 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 399.30.

Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) led the gainers' list by 10.00%.

Meanwhile, Him Star Urja Company Limited (HIMSTAR) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.95%.
Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest loss, losing 0.17%, while the Finance Index saw the highest gain at 0.90%.
