Nabil Balance Fund -1 & Nabil Equity Fund report NAV drop to Rs 24.53 & Rs 10.11 respectively on Baisakh end

Nabil Balanced Fund-1 (NBF1), a closed-end five years mutual fund scheme managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited has reported a Rs 0.34 per unit drop in its Net Asset Value (NAV) on Baisakh, 2074.
According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV has slightly declined to Rs 24.53 at the end of Baisakh, 2074 from Rs 24.87 posted in Chaitra, 2073. The NAV of the fund is above the par value of Rs 10 per unit.
The scheme, which began with a total fund of Rs 75 crore, has investment of Rs 97.93 crore in 72 listed companies’ shares, Rs 11.44 crore in debentures, and Rs 1.03 crore in non-listed shares as of Baisakh end.
The fund reported a net loss of Rs 10.37 crore in the month of Baisakh from net loss of Rs 7.78 crore last month.
Out of its total investment in listed shares, Nabil Balanced Fund-1 has bought 65,060 unit shares, the highest shares of Hydroelectricity Investment & Development Company Limited (HIDCL).
The last traded price (LTP) of NBF-1 stood at Rs 19.9 as on May 24, 2017.
Likewise, Nabil Equity Fund (NEF), a closed-end seven years mutual fund scheme managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited has also posted an decrease in its Net Asset Value.
According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV decreased to Rs. 10.11 at the end of Baisakh, 2074 from Rs 10.19 posted in Chaitra, 2073. The NAV of the fund is above the par value of Rs 10 per unit.
The scheme, which began with a total fund of Rs 1.25 arba, has investment of Rs 34.49 crores in listed companies’ shares, Rs 12.50 crore in fixed deposits, and Rs 3.19 crores in shares of companies that have not been listed as of Baisakh end.
The fund reported a net profit of Rs 1.37 crore in Baisakh from Rs 2.33 crore last month. Out of its total investment in listed shares, Nabil Equity Fund has bought the highest shares (24,930 units) of Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL).
The last traded price (LTP) of NEF stood at Rs 10 as on May 24, 2017.
