Muktinath Development Bank opens 4 new branches
Muktinath Development Bank Limited has opened four new branches in Nawalparasi, Birgunj, Siddhicharan and Rampur on Falgun 24 and Falgun 26, 2073.
Mr. Bhim Bahadur Thapa, chairman of Nawalparasi Chamber of Commerce and Industry inaugurated the newly opened Bhumahi branch in Nawalparasi. Likewise, Siddhicharan and Rampur branches were inaugurated by Mr. Fanindra Dahal, Chief District Officer of Okhaldhunga. In the inauguration ceremonies, Mr. Bharat Raj Dhakal, CEO of the bank highlighted the past, present condition and future strategies of the bank.
The bank will be providing relevant financial services mainly to the agricultural sector to improve the agriculture industry in the country, said Mr. Dhakal. The bank has been providing services to more than 3 lakh customers and 1 lakh microfinance members through its 55 branches all around the country. It has been able to collect Rs 15 arba in deposits and has disbursed Rs 13.50 in loans till date.
