Modi Congratulates RSP Leaders Rabi Lamichhane and Balen Shah on Election Victory
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane and the party’s Senior Leader Balendra Shah for their party’s landslide victory in the recently concluded elections to the House of Representatives of Nepal.
Sharing the information through his official X account this evening, Prime Minister Modi said he held warm telephone conversations with RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane and Senior Leader Balendra Shah following the party’s electoral success.
During the conversation, Modi congratulated both leaders on their personal victories as well as the RSP’s strong performance in the Nepal elections. He also extended his best wishes for the formation of the new government and reaffirmed India’s commitment to working closely with Nepal for mutual prosperity, progress, and the well-being of the people of both countries.
Expressing optimism about future bilateral ties, Modi stated that through joint efforts the relations between India and Nepal would reach new heights in the years ahead.
