The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has officially launched its new digital Dashboard aimed at providing the public with easy access to comprehensive information regarding the ministry’s activities and services.

The newly introduced platform has been designed to enhance transparency and improve public access to real-time data related to company registration, industry registration, and firm registration across the country.

According to the ministry, the Dashboard will provide users with real-time updates on daily registrations of companies, industries, and business firms, making important administrative information readily available to the public.

Before the launch of this system, accessing information regarding the registration status and operational details of industries and companies was often difficult and time-consuming for the general public.

Officials stated that the introduction of the Dashboard is expected to simplify this process significantly by offering a centralized and easily accessible digital platform where users can monitor updated records instantly.

The ministry believes the new system will strengthen transparency, improve efficiency, and reduce barriers for businesses and entrepreneurs seeking official information.

The ministry has also announced plans to expand the Dashboard’s coverage beginning in the upcoming fiscal year.

Under the expansion plan, the platform will start incorporating province-level registration details, allowing users to access more comprehensive nationwide data related to industrial and business registration activities carried out across all provincial jurisdictions.

This move is expected to improve coordination between federal and provincial administrative systems while creating a more integrated digital governance structure.

According to the ministry secretariat, the Dashboard has been developed to ensure seamless access to information technology systems operated by key government bodies under the ministry.

The platform currently connects users to digital systems managed by the Department of Industry, the Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection, and the Office of the Registrar.

Through this integrated digital network, users can easily obtain updated information from multiple departments through a single platform.

The ministry further stated that institutions and agencies that currently do not operate dedicated information technology systems will also be incorporated into the Dashboard through a Dynamic Form feature.

This provision will allow information from bodies lacking digital infrastructure to still be collected, updated, and made accessible through the centralized platform.

Officials say the initiative represents another important step in Nepal’s ongoing digital transformation efforts aimed at improving governance, transparency, and public service delivery through technology.

The launch of the Dashboard is expected to make government-related business and industry information more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly for citizens, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders across the country.
