Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Utilizes 48.82% of Budget in One Year

In the fiscal year 2079/80, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, along with its subordinate agencies, was allocated a budget of NPR 18 billion 982 million. However, according to Ministry statistics, only NPR 9 billion 266 million has been expended by the end of the year.
The largest allocation in the financial arrangement, amounting to NPR 12 billion 5.3 million, was designated for expenditure through the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority. Nevertheless, the actual expenditure for this segment stands at only NPR 4 billion 279 million.
On the current expenditure front, NPR 3 billion 115 million was allocated, of which NPR 2 billion 936 million has been spent, representing an expenditure rate of 94.23 percent.
In terms of capital expenditure, NPR 3.818 billion was earmarked, but the actual expenditure reached NPR 2.51 Kharba, translating to a utilization rate of only 53.82 percent.
