Minimal movement marks the last trading day of the week; Sensitive and Float in the green zone despite market trend

The market today made minimal movement in the negative direction. The benchmark index lost 0.15 points and closed at 1139.57 points. The turnover today was of Rs.25.76 Crore which was achieved from trade of 883,307 units of shares traded through 6,312 transactions trading scrip of 164 listed companies in the process.

Today’s highest turnover was achieved by Nepal Insurance Company (NICL) at Rs.2.45 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.548 per share. A total of 100,000 units of Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) were traded today making it the top traded stock. The LTP of the hotel stands at Rs.201 per share.

Samudayik Laghubitta (SLBSL) was today’s top gained after it gained 8.81% or 69 points to close at Rs.852 per share. Joshi Hydropower (JOSHI) was today’s top loser after it lost 8.63% or 19 points to close at Rs.201 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.11 points and closed at 242.61 points while Float Index gained 0.05 points and closed at 82.86 points.

Today’s gaining sub-indices consisted of Banking, Hotels, Finance and Microfinance as they gained 0.23%, 0.15%, 0.13% and 0.06% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone with Lif Insurance losing the most at 0.74% or 43.57 points.
