Mega Bank turns 13 years better; registers commendable growth in most of the banking indicators with its holistic banking approach of halo dekhi hydro samma
Mega Bank observed its 12th anniversary on Shrawan 7, 2079.
The 28th commercial bank of the nation currently stands at 7th position in terms of the paid up capital, has a deposit figure of Rs 1.56 kharba, disbursed loans of Rs 1.50 kharba, 1800 plus employees, 208 branches in 61 districts, 145 ATM outlets, 25 extension counters and 60 branchless banking units serving 14.75 lakh customers, as per the media statement.
Under its CSR initiative, the bank has handed over Rs 5 lakh to Samata Community School at Boudha of Kathmandu, which was handed over by the chairman of the bank Mr. Bhoj Bahadur Shah to chairman of the hospital Mr. Uttar Sanjel. The hospital is providing health services to the people in need at just Rs 100 which the bank hopes to support with its financial contribution, as per the media statement.
