Mega Bank reports decline in net profit; EPS stands at Rs 9.49 as on third quarter of the current fiscal year

Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MEGA) has posted a net profit fall of 3.23% in the third quarter of ongoing fiscal year 2074/75.

As per the unaudited financial statement published by the commercial bank yesterday, its net profit has fallen to Rs 52.49 crore, from Rs 54.24 crore posted in the same period last year.

In the same period, its deposit base has increased by 11.87% and loans has increased by more than 18%. Its deposit now stands at Rs 43 arba and floated loans of Rs 41.28 arba. The figures stood at only Rs 38.44 arba and Rs 34.93 arba respectively.

Its net interest income has increased by 13.27% to Rs 1.30 arba in the third quarter.

At the end of Q3, its paid up capital has reached Rs 7.37 arba with reserve of Rs 1.81 arba. Its EPS now stands at Rs 9.49 and net worth per share at Rs 124.57.
