Mega Bank new scheme offers 6.5% and 6% interest in FD

Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MEGA) has come up with short term fixed deposit product called ‘Mega Dhamaka Bonanza Scheme’.
'Mega Dhamaka Bonanza Scheme’ is fixed deposit (FD) scheme which offers an interest rate of 6.5% and 6% per annum for FD tenure of 65 days and 120 days respectively. Customers must maintain a minimum balance of Rs 2 lakh to be eligible for the offer.
Upon maturity both the principal as well as interest amount will be automatically credited into the respective interest nominated accounts of the account holders. The individual customers are eligible to open their accounts under this scheme.
This product scheme comes with various other benefits and services such as;
- Free issuance of Checkbook
- SCT Debit Card
- Free Online Banking facility
- On Demand Account Statement
- Free ABBS facility.
Moreover, the account holders under this scheme can also avail an overdraft loan limit of up to 90% of the total Fixed Deposit principal amount.
Customer can open accounts in any of the Bank’s 28 branches throughout the country.
