Mega Bank Nepal Declared 7.83% Dividend for FY 2078/79; How Much in Bonus Shares and Cash?

Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MEGA) has proposed a 7.83% dividend worth Rs. 1.25 Arba for the fiscal year 2078/79.
The 373rd meeting of the board of directors held on Kartik 29, 2079 decided to distribute 7.83% dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 16.12 Arba. 4% bonus shares worth Rs. 64.48 crores and 3.83% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs 61.74 crores have been proposed.
The dividend will be distributed only after approval by the central bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.
The company is in merger process with Nepal Investment Bank Limited, due to which their trading is halted in NEPSE since 10th June 2022.
