Mega Bank investing Rs 4 arba to uplift disadvantaged communities

Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MEGA) is mulling to invest Rs 4 arba to uplift the condition of marginalised communities of the nation. Releasing a press statement, the bank informed that it would give continuity to its efforts of uplifting the condition of the marginalized groups by boosting its credit line towards that endeavor. Mega_Micro-Bank-Acting_CEO Acting CEO of the bank, Ms. Anupama Khunjeli said the amount would be invested for the aforementioned cause by the end of fiscal year 2075. “We have already invested Rs 2.46 billion and rest of the amount would be invested in the coming fiscal year,” said CEO Khunjeli. The bank has a Moto “Halo dekhi Hydro Samma” for which the bank has been raising its rural microfinance credit volume. The bank has already extended the credit of almost 7 % and plans to extend it to 10 % by the end of the current fiscal year.
