Market & turnover continues to slide down; closes 10.63 points down to 1,616.61

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has dropped by 10.63 points or 0.65% to close at 1616.39 points today. NEPSE website was down today due to the issues with data center and fiber network, later the issue was resolved only during the last 30 minutes of trading. NEPSE Index opened at 1627.44 points today and afterward it was seen in downward trend. index 219,331 units shares of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) and 77,897 unit shares of Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOKL) were traded the most today. Synergy Power Company Limited (SPDL), Mero Microfinance Company Limited (MERO) and National Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMFBS) hit positive circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 52.86 crore in which more than 9.85 lakh units shares were traded through 4,223 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 2.49 and 0.61 points respectively.
