Market takes a huge leap of 32.24 points on the first trading day of the week; 13 companies hit the positive circuit while turnover stands at Rs.87.55 Crore

After BFIs decide to fix a cap on the interest rates, the market today gained massively at 2.77% or 32.24 points. The benchmark index closed at 1198.18 points with turnover of Rs.87.55 Crore. A total of 2,812,212 units of shares were traded through 8,670 transactions trading scrips of 164 listed companies in the process.
Sunrise Bank Promoter Shares (SRBLPO) topped the turnover and shares traded list after 495,443 units of shares were traded posting a turnover of 8.17 Crore. The LTP of the same stands at Rs.165 per share. NMB Bank (NMB) stood second on both the lists with LTP of Rs.392 per share.
A total of 13 companies hit the positive circuit today with IME General Insurance (IGI), Lumbini General Insurance (LGIL) and Kalika Laghubitta (KMCDB) gaining the most at 10% each. Today’s top loser, Kailash Bikas Bank (KBBL), lost 6.25% or 15 points to close at Rs.225 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 7.31 points and closed at 255.38 points while Float Index gained 2.42 points and closed at 87.26 points.
Manufacturing & Products was the only losing sub-index today as it lost 0.27%. Rest of the sub-indices gained points, ending in the green zone, with Non-Life Insurance gaining the most at 5.97% or 318.02 points.
