Market slides down to 1118 points after losing more than 20 points

The market today saw a heavy loss of 2% or 22.80 points and closed at 1118.19 points. The turnover for today was of Rs.37.72 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,168,233 units of shares traded through 4,368 transactions trading scrips of 156 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded after 121,363 units of share were traded to post a turnover of Rs.3.54 Crore. The LTP of the bank stands Rs.290 per share.

Hathway Finance (HATH) gained 5.77% or 6 points to close at Rs.110 per share, making it today’s top gainer. Radhi Bidyut Company (RADHI) lost 6.89% or 12 points to close at Rs.162 per share, making it today’s top loser.

Sensitive Index lost 4.91 points and closed at 237.78 points while Float Index lost 1.58 points and closed at 81.12 points.

All of the sub-indices lost points today, ending in the red zone. Others lost the most at 3.77%.
