Market shows sideways movement; Index closes at 1513.74 level while turnover exceeds to Rs 65.71 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declines by 0.60 points or 0.04% to close at 1513.74 level. index Except hydropower, finance and others sub-indices, all the six sectors such as banking, trading, hotels, development bank, insurance and micro finance groups landed in red with the hotel sector decreased the most, 35.23 points. sec Mahalxami Bikas Bank Ltd, Promotor Share (MLBLPO) led the most traded stock group with 82,126 units shares being traded followed by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) (78,716 units shares traded). The total transaction volume stood at 6,123 posting a turnover of Rs 65.71 crore. The companies enjoying highest turnover were Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL)  followed by Standard Chartered Bank Limited with turnover amounts standing at Rs 6.48 crore and Rs 4.59 crore respectively. Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Share (RBCLPO) suffered the highest loss while Kalika Microcredit Development bank Ltd. (KMCDB) was the biggest gainer.
