Market Roundup: NEPSE Index Upsurges by 32.43 Points, Incremental Intraday Turnover of Rs. 2.025 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,965.98 today after gaining 32.43 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 1.68%. The index had lost 11.56 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 1,934.45 which is also the intraday low. It then ultimately closed at intraday high of 1,965.98.
233 scrips traded hands via 31,093 transactions. A total of 4,223,867 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 2.025 Arba in the turnover amount. This is alot higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 92.51 Crores.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 45.04 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 343 per share. The shares of Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) traded the most.
Deprosc Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DDBL) gained the highest 8.21% for the day.
On the other side of things, NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 (NMBHF1) lost 3.11% today.
Only one sector index closed red, "Mutual Fund" lost 0.98% while "Microfinance" gained the highest 3.07%.
