Market Roundup; NEPSE Falls by 77.01 Points to Close at 1,915.61, All Sector Indices Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 1,915.61 today after losing 77.01 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 3.86%. The index had lost 34.70 points last Friday.
The index opened at 1993.55 which is also the intraday high. It then went intraday day low at 1,913.19 and ultimately closed at 1,915.61.
227 scrips traded hands via 45,196 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,313,641 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.325 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last Friday's turnover of Rs. 1.168 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.04 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 3,255. The shares of Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Ltd (UPPER) traded the most.
8.5% Sanima Debenture 2087 (SBD87) gained the highest 2%.
On the other side of things, Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (GBLBS) lost all 10% today.
All sector indices closed red, “Trading" lost the highest 5.78% while "Hotels And Tourism" lost the least 2.18%.
