Market plunges by 6.45 points as turnover stands almost at Rs.80 Crore; four companies hit the positive circuit

The market today reached a high of 1208 points but it closed to lose 0.54% or 6.45 points and closed at 1191.74 points. The turnover today was of Rs.79.87 Crore which was achieved from trade of 2,276,175 units of shares, traded through 7,993 transactions trading scrips of 168 companies in the process.
Today’s highest turnover was achieved by NMB Bank (NMB) at Rs.9.95 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.387 per share. A total of 4.35 Lakh units Prime Bank Promoter shares (PCBLP) were traded today making it the most traded scrip. The LTP of the same stands at Rs.190 per share.
Four companies hit the positive circuit as two of them gain exactly 10%, namely, Hathway Finance Company (HATH) and Global IME Laghubitta (GILB). Bishal Bazar Company (BBC) lost the most today at 7.67% or 135 points to close at Rs.1625 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 1.70 points and closed at 253.68 points while Float Index lost 0.59 points and closed at 86.87 points.
Finance, manufacturing & Products, Others and Life Insurance were among the gaining sub-indices which gained 0.83%, 0.13%, 0.41% and 1.21% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone with Trading sector losing the most at 4.80%.
