Market plunges by 5.46 points to close at 1162.70 points; Kabeli Bikas Banks hits the positive circuit

The market today stood to lose 0.47% or 5.46 points and closed at 1162.70 points. Today’s turnover was at Rs.38.72 Crore which was achieved through trade of 1,302,822 units of shares traded through 4,442 transactions trading scrips of 158 listed companies in the process.
Today’s highest turnover was posted by Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) at Rs.3.52 Crore. The LTP of the company stands at Rs.955 per share. A total of 1.26 Lakh units of Global IME Promoter Shares (GBIMEP) were traded today, making it to the top of shares traded list. The LTP of the same stands at Rs.180 per share.
Kabeli Bikas Bank (KEBL) hit the positive circuit today as it gained 9.93% or 27 points to close at Rs.299 per share. Ngadi Group Power (NGPL) was today’s top loser after it lost 7.31% or 9 points to close at Rs.114 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 1.26 points and closed at 247.33 points while Float Index lost 0.47 points and closed at 84.52 points.
Development Banks, Finance, Non-Life Insurance and Manufacturing & Products were the only sub-indices that gained today with Development Banks gaining the most at 1.04%. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone with Banking losing the most at 0.84%.
