Market opens for the week with 3 point gain standing at 1295 points; Shivam Cements hits the positive circuit

The market today stood to gain 0.24% or 3.07 points and closed at 1295.03 points. The turnover stood at Rs.84.81 Crore achieved from trade of 2,670,140 units of shares traded through 8,038 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of Sanima Bank Limited (SBBLPO) dominated trade today after posting turnover of Rs.16.45 Crore achieved through trade of 913,835 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.180.10 per share.

Shivam Cements (SHIVM) hit the positive circuit today as it gained 9.98% or 41 points and closed at Rs.452 per share. Suryodaya Laghubitta (SLBS) was today’s top loser as it lost 7.26% or 70 points and closed at Rs.894 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.51 points and closed at 277.03 points while Float index gained 0.16 points and closed at 95.12 points.

Hotels, Finance, Non-Life Insurance and Manufacturing sectors were among gaining sub-indices while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
