Market moves by 9 points in the positive direction to close at 1111 points; more than 70 thousand units of NCCB traded today

The market today closed at today’s highest point. The benchmark index gained 0.83% or 9.12 points and stood to close at 1111.76 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.22.46 Crore which was achieved through trade of 826,013 units of shares traded through 4,302 transactions trading scrips of 169 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCCB) was the highest traded scrip today. The bank posted a turnover of Rs.1.46 Crore which was achieved through trade of 71,901 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.212 per share.

Hathway Finance (HATH) was today’s top gainer after it gained 8.33% or 9 points and closed at Rs.117 per share. Today’s top loser, Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL), lost 6.55% or 15 points to close at Rs.214 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 2.03 points and closed at 236.28 points while Float Index gained 0.72 points and closed at 80.83 points.

All the sub-indices gained points today and closed in the green zone. Life Insurance sector gained the most at 1.70% followed by Hotels which gained 1.50%.
