Market loses17.39 points, closes at 1413.17

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 17.39 points or 1.22% to close at 1413.71 points.
NEPSE had opened at 1431.10 and it started its downfall from the start of the day. At the end of the day, the index ended losing 17.39 points.
The total turnover of the day was Rs 36.22 crore where more than 8 lakh units of shares were exchanged through 4,421 transactions.
Sanima Mai Hydropower Ltd (SHPC) stood ahead in terms of total turnover for the day with its total transactions exceeding over 5.45 crore. It was also ahead in terms of shares traded as 1,25,417 shares were traded during the day.
NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF) made the highest profit today as their value increased by 4.02% to Rs 9.83. Likewise, Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited (SINDU) was the top loser as its value decreased by 12 points or 7.9268% and its LTP was Rs 152.
Both the Sensitive and Float index decreased by3.79 points and 1.22 points respectively.
The indices of all the trading groups showed a downward movement and landed in red today. Hydropower sector decreased by 100.08 points which was followed by Insurance losing 88.6 points.
