Market loses minimal points to close at 1177.07 points; Arambha Microfinance hits the positive circuit gaining almost 70 points

The market today crossed 1180 points but stood to lose a minimum of 0.40 points. The index closed at 1177.07 points today. Today’s turnover was of Rs.34.27 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,109,020 units of shares traded through 3,573 transactions trading scrips of 160 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded after it posted a turnover of Rs.8.86 Crore achieved through trade of 288,607 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.307 per share.

Arambha Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha (AMFI) was today’s top gainer after it hit the positive circuit gaining 9.99% or 69 points to close at Rs.760 per share. NMB Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha (NMBMF) was today’s top loser after it lost 6.85% or 81 points to close at Rs.1100 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.09 points and closed at 249.84 points while Float Index remained unchanged at 85.60 points.

Development Banks, Manufacturing & Products, Others and Microfinance were among the gaining sub-indices which gained 0.11%, 0.23%, 0.14% and 0.39% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices lost points with Hotels losing the most at 0.69%.
