Market loses for seventh consecutive day; registers loss of 7.22 points to close at 1170.79 points

The market today registered a fall for the seventh consecutive day. NEPSE lost 0.61% or 7.22 points to close at 1170.79 points. Today’s turnover was at Rs.31.03 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,363,854 units of shares traded through 4,252 transactions trading scrips of 156 listed companies in the process.

Today Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCCB) stood ahead in terms of shares traded and turnover. The commercial bank posted a turnover of Rs.3.32 Crore which was achieved from trade of 152,776 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.218 per share.

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) was today’s top gainer after it gained 7.05% or 148 points and closed at Rs.2248 per share. Today’s top loser, Bhargav Bikas Bank (BHBL), lost 7.58% or 11 points to close at Rs.134 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.30 points and closed at 248.56 points while Float Index lost 0.66 points and closed at 85.07 points.

Others was the only gaining sub-index as it gained 1.32% or 9.54 points. Rest of the sub-indices lost points ending in the red zone with Microfinance losing the most at 1.64% or 22.84 points.
