Market loses another 12.84 points to fall below 1300 points; Panchthar Power Company continues to lose points

The market was today was falling since it opened. The benchmark index further loses 0.98% or 12.84 points and closes at 1292.84 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.69.87 Crore which was achieved through trade of 2,176,370 units of shares traded through 8,447 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies in the process.

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.9.06 Crore achieved through trade of 193,172 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.468 per share.

Today’s top gainer was Taragaon Regency Hotel (TRH) as it gained 7.50% or 21 points and closed at Rs.301 per share. Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) hit the negative circuit today as well. The hydropower company lost 9.52% or 14 points and closed at Rs.133 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 2.64 points and closed at 275.48 points while Float Index lost 0.93 points and closed at 94.68 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points. Manufacturing sector was the top loser as it lost 1.96%.
