Market loses 9.20 points amidst wait & watch situation among investors; Minimal turnover above Rs 79.59 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 9.20 points or 0.55% to close at 1653.18 points today.
Nepse Index opened at 1662.17 points today and the local bourse went up to 1668.05 points in the first trading hour, afterward it was seen in downward trend.
159,125 units shares of National Hydropower Company Limited (NHPC) and 95,625.unit shares of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) were traded the most today.
Bhargav Bikas Bank Limited (BHBL) and Sahara Bikas Bank Limited (SHBL) hit positive circuit break today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 79.59 crore where more than 12.95 lakh units shares were traded through 7,125 transactions.
Sensitive index went down by 1.87 and float index slightly increased by 0.7 points respectively.
Except Manufacturing & Production sectors, all the sub-indices landed in red zone today. Insurance sub-group witnessed the biggest drop of 93.68 points.
