Market inspectors overlooked for ‘Food Inspection’
KATHMANDU, July 19:
The government is preparing to send 14 employees, who are not related to market inspection and monitoring, to attend the Food Inspection Training being held in China from the first week of August.
A source at the Department of Commerce and Supply Management (DoCSM) said 14 employees -- seven each from the department and the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies (MoCS) -- have been selected for the training. "The selected employees are not involved in any inspection and monitoring activities," the source added.
