Market increases by 9.80 points, closes at 1404.53

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 9.80 points or 0.70% to close at 1404.53points.
NEPSE had opened at 1394.73 and increased throughout the day.
The total turnover of the day was Rs 28.24 crore where more than 6 lakh units shares were traded through 3,670 transactions.
Sanima Mai Hydropower Ltd. (SHPC) stood ahead in terms of total turnover for the day with its total transactions exceeding over Rs 1.81 crore. It was also ahead in terms of shares traded i.e. 42,753 units.
Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) was the top gainer while Guheshowori Merchant Bank & Finance Co. Ltd. (GMFIL) was the top loser for the day.
Both Sensitive and Float index increased by 2.07 points and 0.75 points respectively.
Except Development bank and others sector, the sub-indices of all the trading groups landed in green at the end of the day. Insurance sector gained the most (i.e. 89.02 points) followed by Manufacturing & Production sector (i.e. 30.45 points). On the other hand, Development bank lost by 3.06 points followed by others sector (i.e. 1.45 points).
