Market improvement felt after it gained 18.89 points today; three microfinance companies hit the positive circuit

On the opening day of the week, the market restores hope as it gains 1.64% or 18.89 points and closed at 1167.67 points. The turnover today was at Rs.47.42 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,407,534 units of shares traded through 4,974 transactions trading scrips of 159 listed companies in the process.

The highest turnover today was achieved by Chhimek Laghubitta (CBBL) at Rs.5.77 Crore. The LTP of the microfinance company stands at Rs.830 per share. A total of 174,105 units of Nepal Bank (NBL) were traded today. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.310 per share.

Today three companies hit the positive circuit namely, Mirmire Laghubitta (MMFDB) gaining 10% or 99 points, Aarambha Microfinance gaining 9.97% or 62 points and Kalika Laghubitta (KMCDB) gaining 9.95% or 75 points. Rairang Hydropower (RRHP) lost 4.46% or 5 points to close at Rs.107 per share, making it today’s top loser.

Sensitive Index gained 3.98 points and closed at 248.67 points while Float Index gained 1.48 points and closed at 85.06 points.

Manufacturing and Products was the only losing sub-index as it lost 0.38% or 8.43 points. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone gaining points. Non-Life Insurance gained the most at 3.29% or 167.21 points.
