Market gains 7.60 points to close at 1148.78 points; Turnover stands at Rs.32.37 Crore

The market today gained 0.67% or 7.60 points to close at 1148.78 points. Today’s turnover was at Rs.32.37 Crore which was achieved from a trade of 997,672 units of shares traded through 3,266 transactions trading scrips of 154 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Insurance Company (NICL) posted the highest turnover today at Rs.5.25 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.503 per share. Machhapuchhre Bank Promoter Shares (MBLPO) was traded the most today with a trade of 156,701 units of shares. The LTP of the same stands at Rs.130 per share.

Today’s top gainer was Nagbeli Laghubitta (NBBL) after it gained 5.25% or 36 points to close at Rs.722 per share. Suryodaya Laghubitta (SLBS) lost 3.57% or 35 points making it to the top of losers list. The LTP of the microfinance company stands at Rs.945 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.64 points to close at 244.70 points while Float Index gained 0.69 points and closed at 83.57 points.

Hotels, Finance, and Others were among the losing sub-indices losing 0.11%, 0.07%, and 0.36% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone with Non-Life Insurance gaining the most at 1.31%.
