Market falls by 4.21 points to close at 1310.31 points; NLIC posts turnover worth Rs.14.69 Crore

The market today stood to lose 0.32% or 4.21 points and closed at 1310.31 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.1.19 Arba which was achieved from trade of 3,016,480 units of shares traded through 12,589 transactions trading scrips of 174 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Life Insurance (NLIC) topped the turnover list with turnover of Rs.14.69 Crore with its LTP at Rs.1316 per share. In terms of volume, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead with trade of 351,667 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.321 per share.

NIBL Pragati Fund (MIBLPF) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.66% and closed at Rs.7.65 per unit. Radhi Bidyut Company (RADHI) was today’s top loser as it lost 7.51% or 13 points and closed at Rs.160 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.01 points and closed at 281.84 points while Float Index lost 0.37 points and closed at 96.49 points.

Trading, Hotels, Manufacturing, Others and Life Insurance were among the gaining sectors while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
