Market evokes ray of hope among investors; Gains 12.49 points to close at 1,144.19 points

NEPSE index registered a gain of 12.49 points to close at 1,144.19 points. Today’s turnover stood at Rs.43.67 Crore which was achieved from trade of 12,64,340 units of shares traded through 4,566 transactions trading scrip of 163 companies in the process.

Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIB) was at the top spot on turnover list after a turnover of Rs.5.48 Crore. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.648 per share. Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) was the top stock based on units traded as 1,19,217 units were traded throughout the day.

Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited (RRHP) was today’s top gainer after it gained 7.77% or 8 points to close at Rs.111 per share. Mahila Sahayatra Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSMBS) lost the most after it lost 34 point or 6.61% to close at Rs.480 per unit.

Sensitive Index gained 2.80 points to close at 243.81 points and Float Index gained 0.93 points to close at 83.10 points.

Others and Manufacturing & Products were the only sectors among losing sub-indices as they lost 0.11% and 0.39% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone gaining points with Life Insurance gaining the most at 1.97%.
