Market enduring bullish trend; Index rises by 7.56 points with turnover above Rs 1.04 arba

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has increased by 7.56 points or 0.46% to close at 1660.25 points today.
NEPSE Index opened 1652.81 points and the local bourse was seen in upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above 1.04 arba in which more than 21.21 lakh units shares were traded 9,340 transactions.
Nepal Grameen Bikas Bank Limited (NGBBL) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 4.51 crore) while Laxmi Value Fund (LVF1) was at the top in terms of number of shares traded (4.31 lakh units).
6 companies hit 10% positive circuit break whereas Nepal Community Development Bank Limited (NCDB) was the biggest loser today. Top gainers list was dominated by microfinance companies.
Sensitive and float index went up by 0.8 and 0.53 points respectively.
Except Hotels and Insurance sub-groups, all the sub-groups landed in green zone today. Development Bank sub-group witnessed the growth of 44.59 points (2.18%).
