Market ends in green after several days; Market increases by 44.22 point; NEPSE Index stands at 1,434.80

The benchmark capital market index, Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE), has increased by 44.22 points or 3.18% to close at 1434.80 points.
Today, NEPSE Index opened at 1390.59 points and the local bourse was seen increasing throughout the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 49.43 crore where more than 11.32 lakh units’ shares were traded through 5,167 transactions.
Standard Chartered Bank Limited (SCB) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 2.88 crore) and Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) topped the list in terms of shares traded (82,802 units) today.
Sensitive and float index decreased by 9.2 points and 0.22 points respectively.
The sub-indices of nine sectors such as Banking, Trading, Hotels, Development Bank, HydroPower , Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing & Production and Microfinance ended in green whereas the sub-indices of others landed in red. Insurance sector gained the most (i.e. 270.8 points) followed by Hotels sector (i.e. 111.57 points).
Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Share (RBCLPO) was the top gainer while Purnima Bikas bank Ltd. (PURBL) was among the top losers.
