Market continues to rise by double digit; Index surges by 10.14 points with turnover of Rs 58.46 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has increased by 10.12 points or 0.67% to close at 1523.86 points today.

Nepse Index opened at 1513.76 points today and the local bourse was seen in upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood at 58.46 crores in which more than 10.27 lakh units shares were traded with 4,940 transactions.
Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) topped the list of companies in terms of turnover (Rs 4.23 crore) while Nepal Credit and Commercial Bank Limited(NCCB) was traded the most (71,358units) today.
The best performer for the day was Mission Development Bank Ltd. whereas Kuber Merchant Finance Limited (KMBSL) was the biggest loser today.
Sensitive and float index went up by 2.32 points and 0.51 points respectively.
Except Insurance and Manufacturing &Production sector, all the indices of seven trading group landed in green at the end of the day. The sub indices of trading sector remained unchanged while the sub-indices of others sectorrises the most 34.41 points.
