Market continues to lose points as NEPSE falls to 1166.67 points; turnover falls to Rs.23.79 Crore

The market today lost 0.19% or 2.24 points and closed at 1166.67 points. The turnover stood at Rs.23.79 Crore achieved through trade of 992,122 units of shares traded through 6,631 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.1.25 Crore achieved through trade of 62,522 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.203 per share.

Himalaya Urja Bikas Company (HURJA) was today’s top gainer after gaining 6.72% or 8 points and closed at Rs.127 per share. Central Finance (CFCL) was today’s top loser after losing 4.64% or 5 points and closed at Rs.107 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.21 points and closed at 255.57 points while Float Index lost 0.18 points and closed at 86.26 points.

Hotels, Development Banks, Non-Life Insurance and Mutual Funds were among gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
